I am here to let you know you are AMAZING, and birth is a natural SACRED life experience. Your overall wellness is one of my top priorities! You are a miracle embarking on a miracle. Your birthing experience is as UNIQUE as you are, and I am here to assist you with having the birthing experience you desire and a life that feeds your soul! I will be there offering trauma-informed evidence- based, birthing person led, emotional, physical, informational, spiritual and mental support during all four trimesters for you and your family and working with you to become the best version of yourself.

After retiring from a long career of working with children and families, I became a professional doula. I wanted to work with birthing persons during this sacred time of their lives. I wanted to bring sacred holistic services to them, youth, and communities by partnering with them as they learn more about holistic wellness. I also wanted to educate them about the importance of preventive women's health care, maternal health justice, trauma-informed quality childcare, equity and advocacy, and breastfeeding through coaching, training, and mentoring not only birthing persons but the community and new doulas.
I am the mother of two amazing adult sons and oftentimes reflect on my birthing experiences. They were both very different births but what helped me survive was the birthing team I chose and the village around me when I returned home.
I am also a Mut Sacred Woman Practitioner and a Master teacher at the Queen Afua Wellness Institute. I have been blessed to study directly under Queen Afua. I am a Childbirth Educator, an author, singer/songwriter, a Master of Ceremony and a speaker. I am also a birth justice advocate that believes birth work is justice work and there is no way to separate one from the other!
*Due to these historical times, I also offer virtual support. This allows me to not only serve birthing families around the world but to also serve in the safest way possible allowing you and your baby's health to be at the forefront of my practice. If I am your doula, let's connect soon!

Meet and Greet Consultation

I want all of my birthing persons to experience the impressive level of professionalism when working with Growing Seeds, Inc.. All of my services, exist to make your birthing experience as calm and stress free as possible.
This Meet and Greet Consultation is a time to ask your questions and to see if I am the doula for you and your family. This can be done via telephone or Zoom. This is your birth and I am here for you! Be sure to write your questions down ahead of time to ensure you get all of the information you need to feel 100% comfortable with your decision. Also, be sure to be in a comfortable space and to breathe. I look forward to speaking with you soon. Love and light.
